Commissions
I am delighted to supply my work for your home or office. I can visit (if that’s practical) or you can send me pictures and after a chat I will work with the space, your colour schemes, taste and budget to make suggestions about what might work for you. There are some examples of recently completed commissions below. There is another one in the painting section (‘Dancing Girl 2’) showing how a contemporary piece can work very well in a historic setting.
Case Study A – A young mum and her daughter had just moved into their brand new home. They were sticking to a strict pink and grey colour scheme and wanted a variety of artworks that fitted with that and somehow reflected them. They were particularly taken with a Mother and Daughter mono print which I tinted pink for them (see below) and I also made them a small version of ‘Dancing Girl’ (see the Painting section). An abstract, modern twist was provided with the addition of a set of five acrylic pours in grey, pink and cream (two of which are shown below).
Case Study B – A newly refurbished kitchen was lacking something for its walls. The new kitchen cabinetry was in grey and the walls were painted in a pale burgundy. I provided a set of three botanical prints in green and burgundy (see ‘Acer’ Prints for similar), in small white box frames to be hung one above the other. For another wall, a set of four mounted postcard sized botanical prints carried the theme on, still framed in white but with a contrasting style of frame and featuring mainly the burgundy (see image below).
